Link Anybody know anything about these things? Useful tool or waste of time?

1. New android 5.1.1 operation system;
2. Simple and intuitive menu guidance allows you to quickly understand how to use the tablet;
3. Provide complete diagnostic functions including code reading, code clearing, data flow, action test, setting, coding etc;
4. Menu selection is more convenient and quick;
5. Record and play back real-time data streams, quickly and accurately locate sensor and component faults;
6. Wi-Fi connection to the internet, one-click software upgrade;
7. One-click remote help function, OBDSTAR technical staff offer remote assistance.
8. Lightweight and portable, your motorcycle repair helper.
9. One year update for free, after one year, it costs 80USD for update per year.
10. Support multi-language.
(The default language is English, please register the device before changing language.)

The annual update is troubling..... can't imagine much has changed to require updates.
Looks to be about the size of a GPS, model for most bikes, many cars, even outboard motors. $450US, China

Not that one no. I have a simple OBD reader for the Tbird that does diagnostics, codes, gauges , dashboard etc. I bought it after my first breakdown which was TPS related and it would have helped me then to isolate the issue. Not needed it since. For the Indian I have a Dynojet PV3 which is far more involved with flash tuning etc. I use RVS performance with that who so far have been excellent solving factory tune short comings. Wish I had have had this way back for the Bird when mucking around with the Power commander.

Experience is something you get just after you needed it
1600,Foran Razorbacks, Meerkat bypass, Dyno tune, real headlight,plenty of chrome,switchblade pegs, Hagon Nitro shocks & Ikon progressive fork springs etc. Scorpion Western Low handlebars. PH adjustable fork caps.
